Director of Operations
Erin Dolan earned a B.S. in Biology and Sports Medicine from Shepherd University. She was a four year Shepherd University Varsity cheerleader and captain her last two years. She was also the catcher for Shepherd’s softball team. Before college, she cheered for football and basketball and was the captain of the competition cheer squad at Chantilly HS in Virginia. She was also captain of the Varsity gymnastics team and the State Champion softball team. Erin has coached cheerleading, tumbling, and gymnastics for 24 years. She is a certified judge of high school and all-star cheerleading. Erin currently serves on the USASF Field Staff, the USASF Regional Advisory Board, the Cheer Coach & Advisor magazine's Coach's Panel, and on the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Board of Directors. She is ARC CPR, ARC First Aid, and USAG Safety Certified. She is also USASF Levels 1-6 Credentialed in all areas.
Gym Manager & School Cheer Coordinator
Max Parra earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University. He was a member of the Division I Co-Ed team that brought home the first ever NCA Collegiate National Championship title in 2012. Eat ‘Em Up Kats! He also cheered at The University of Texas at San Antonio for 2 years. While in San Antonio, Max enjoyed cheering on the San Antonio Spurs as a member on the Coyote Crew. Max relocated to the Houston area in 2007 and has worked as an All-Star coach and tumbling instructor since then. He has coached All-Star cheerleaders levels 1-5 and tumbling classes beginner through elite skills. Max has extensive experience at the Collegiate level, and has trained numerous athletes as they prepare for college cheerleading tryouts. Max enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife Keri, and their 3 daughters Harper, Piper, and Sawyer. He loves the outdoors, and when he’s not in the gym he can usually be found behind the grill.
David Salter is originally from The Woodlands, TX. He went to The Woodlands High School, class of 2007. Growing up, he was a competitive gymnast. His accomplishments include multiple top 5 Texas State Titles and becoming the Class 5 Region 3 Parallel Bar Champion. After gymnastics he turned to cheerleading, where he's competed for three World Championship winning programs earning multiple top 5 placements at NCA Nationals in Dallas and The USASF World Championships at Disney. His coaching career began at the age of 18 when he started coaching tumbling. He's coached tumbling for 12 years at programs such as Prodigy All Stars and Woodlands Elite. Most recently he coached at Cheer Athletics Austin where he coached classes for all tumbling levels, Youth Level 3 and Jr. Level 4 All Star teams and worked as their Class Program Director. Last year he got an offer to coach a women’s Gymnastics team in Austin TX where he coached 70 plus athletes, all training from 12 to 18 hours a week earning one North State Uneven Bars Champion and building 5 athletes to make the jump from Level 4 to Level 6. He's taught skills ranging from Handstands, Forward rolls, and Cartwheels all the way up to Elite Tumbling combinations for level 9 and 10 Female Gymnastics.
Front Office Manager
Bertha has been at SCA since it opened. She has been happily married for 29 years and is the mother of three children; Kristen, Kaitlyn and Kraig. Both of her daughters tumbled and cheered at SCA and eventually became coaches and are now married. Bertha has been involved with cheer through coaching at Rosehill Christian School and through her daughters who both cheered 6-12 grades. She has a huge heart for children of all ages. Bertha and her husband have worked in the Youth Ministry for over 11 years. Prior to SCA, Miss Bertha worked for a pediatrician for 23 years. She started working for Dr. Max Mintz when she was a junior in high school. She continued her education and training with the same doctor until he retired. Bertha says, "She could not think of a better place for God to bring her to than SCA. She loves being surrounded by youth in a happy and cheerful atmosphere where we can openly proclaim the word of God.
Elite Division Cheer Director
Raven Lupone is a graduate of Lone Star College with a A.A. in Fine Arts-Dance, and Kinesiology. Raven has competed in all-star cheerleading her entire life. She is a USASF World Champion when she cheered at Cheer Athletics! While competing, her team won 34 National Championship Titles. She was also a champion competitive Power Tumbler. She is ARC CPR and ARC First Aid certified and USASF Credentialed Levels 1-5 in all areas. She currently serves on the USASF Field Staff. She is the proud mom of two girls, Rylie and Ryan.
Prep Division Cheerleading Director & Birthday Party Coordinator, All-Star Cheerleading & Tumbling Coach
Erika Martinez is a veteran cheer coach for 11 years now. As a coach, she has experience in both tumbling and All-Star Cheerleading. She even Co-owned her own gym, Incredible Cheer All-Stars where she handled and managed the company as well as coached and brought forth multiple National titles the three years it was established. Erika is considered a late bloomer to being exposed to the cheerleading world. She first started cheering in high school where she served as a Varsity cheerleader but did not experience the All-star world until she met her husband, Lazaro Martinez, at 19 years old. During her time off, Erika enjoys spending time with her two children who both adore tumbling so much that they continuously flip around their own home. Therefore, here life as a coach never stops due to her own active tumbling children. In her limited free time, Erika likes to spend time camping in the woods with her family. Erika is also CPR/ First aid and USASF certified.
Lil' Flippers Tumbling Director & All-Star Cheerleading Coach
Brittani Parsons is coaching Tumbling and Cheer. She graduated from SHSU with a Bachelor of Arts in Family & Consumer Science before moving to Orlando to pursue a dream of working for Disney! There, she worked as a children’s recreation cast member. Brittani has coached cheer and tumbling for 12 years at the same gym, prior to that gym closing. She truly has a passion for children and is so excited to become a party of the SCA Family.
Lil' Flippers Preschool Director
Toni Stephens earned a B.S. in Elementary Education from Olivet Nazarene College. She taught 2nd through 5th grade for 5 years. Toni has been happily married for 31 years and is the mother of 8 children. She has been a homeschool mom for the past 22 years. She loves children and is active in her church teaching 2-3-year-old Sunday School, Nursery Director, and AWANA Sparks director. She is excited to join the SCA Staff teaching and loving on our children.
Marketing Director and Cheer Administrator, All-Star Cheerleading Coach
Madi grew up in Cypress, Texas, where she cheered competitively for 8 years, winning several championship titles. In high school, Madi was Co-Captain of her cheerleading team and coached cheerleading and gymnastics at local gyms. More recently, Madi has been focusing on education at Texas A&M University, where she graduated in May of 2019. Madi earned her CPR and First Aid certification as a prerequisite for nannying in college. Madi is newly married and just moved to Spring, where her husband has also landed a job, and she is beyond excited to rejoin the wonderful world of cheerleading! When she’s not at the gym she can be found with her hubby and tons of pets, probably doing something outdoors or curled up reading a book.
Front Office Staff
Mrs. Shawna has lived in Tomball for over 12 years. When she joined our Front Office Staff in the evenings and Summer, she was not a new face around SCA. Her youngest daughter had cheered and tumbled here for years and her granddaughter now tumbles and cheers here. Prior to working in the front office, she served on the SCA Booster Club Board, worked in the Snack Shack, and served as a Ministry Leader for our FCA huddle! Mrs. Shawna has a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with an Emphasis in Special Education, a Master of Education in Special Education, and a Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction- Reading Education. During the day, she is a Bilingual Educational Diagnostician. In the past, Mrs. Shawna has also served the community as a cheer/drill team coach with UPWARD Basketball Cheer and the AAYFDT Ponies, and as Assistant Youth Praise Dance Director with her church. Mrs. Shawna loves that her role here at SCA allows her to serve families in our community!
All-Star Cheerleading & Tumbling Coach, Gym Photographer/Videographer
Kevyn has been in the cheerleading industry for over a decade. He first started at his parent's cheerleading gym at the age of 12. He eventually moved to Miami at the age of 17 to cheer at Top Gun All-Stars where he won his first NCA Championship and a Silver Medal at the 2015 Cheerleading World Championships. After, Kevyn retired from competing and begin coaching all the skills he learned over the last few years to others. Kevyn also has a passion for story telling and filmmaking and is attending Sam Houston State University to get his degree in Film and Tv Production.
All-Star Cheerleading Coach
Yessiena Chavez, also called 'Yessie', is currently coaching with Spring Creek Athletics on team ENDURANCE. She also has a daughter cheering on Spring Creek Athletics' show team- ENERGY.
Yessiena started competitive cheer at 10 years old where she then trained at Cypress Academy of Gymnastics and cheered predominantly at Prodigy All-Stars. She retired from the sport at 21 years old as a collegate and competitive level 5 international cheerleader for the University of Houston and Apex Cheer and Athletics.
Yessiena first generated her coaching experience at 18 years old, while in college at Lamar University and coincidingly cheering at her home gym- Prodigy All-stars. She later married into an the 'army life' where she was frequently required to moved across the globe, yet continued her coaching her career at various gyms across the country.
Yessie is excited to call Spring Creek Athletics her new home as she respects the devotion and the hard working environment expressed through all the staff. She thoroughly enjoys sharing her love for the sport with her atheltes. She finds great exuberance when athletes learn new skills. Yessiena also finds it immensely rewarding to see them exceed past mental bounds, learn discipline and responsiblity that promotes growth- even outside of the gym.
Tumbling & All-Star Cheerleading Coach
William Fugate was born and raised here in Houston, Texas. Coach William is currently enrolled at Sam Houston State University as a student and as a cheerleader. Coach William has been a cheerleader for over 13 years and also has 5 years of gymnastics where he received coaching from our very own Coach Brenden and Coach Logan. He has been coaching for about 9 years throughout the Houston and greater Houston area and has finally landed a spot here at Spring Creek Athletics.
Fun Fact: William has also played soccer his whole life even in college and loves chipotle!
Front Office Staff & Preschool Teacher
Mallori Bailey was born and raised in Houston. She is currently studying Child Development and Special Education at Lonestar College. She has worked with kids for several years as a Babysitter and Nanny. She also teaches Sunday School at her church for the 4-5 year olds. She enjoys working with the Awana Cubbies group as well. In middle school and high school she was on the softball team. Mallori is First Aid and CPR certified.
Front Desk Staff
Jake Stephens has been with SCA for 2 years and has been working in an office setting for 6 years. He works really well with people and loves to work with kids. Jake has been working with his church's Awana group for 6 years and loves it. He has a talent for getting to know people and can make you feel at home here. He also works with Special Events and Birthday Parties.
Whitney Roberson has been cheering and tumbling at Spring Creek Athletics for 6 years now. She is currently attending Klein High School as a Senior. She is also currently on the Klein Varsity Cheer team for her school as well. She has won several championship titles in her years of cheering. She currently works with cheer prep classes, stunting classes, and tumbling levels 1 & 2. Her main goal as a cheer coach is to help progress each of her students’ skills; as well as, teach them what it truly means to be a cheerleader. While spreading the love and joy of cheerleading and tumbling, that she has gained in her years of cheering for SCA. Outside of cheerleading, Whitney is involved in the Klein Varsity Chorale Choir, Student Council, Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), Young Life, B.E.S.T, and Sugar Plum Cotillion (SPC). She is also apart of Science National Honor Society, National Honors Society, and she is a Klein 5 Ambassador. In her spare time, she focuses on her family and friends. In addition, Whitney is First Aid, CPR, and AED Certified.
Josie Spivey has been a part of the SCA family for 10 years cheering, tumbling and now coaching. She currently attends Magnolia West High School and hopes to attend Texas A&M University in the future. She has won several national championship titles with her teams at SCA. She has also worked with Stars, SCA's special needs cheer team, for 4 years. Her main goal is to share the love of cheerleading and tumbling that SCA coaches have shared with her for so many years.
Brook Thompson has been cheering and tumbling at Spring Creek Athletics for 13 years now. She is currently attending Tomball High School and is going on her junior year. She is also currently on the varsity cheer team for her school as well. She has won several championship titles in her years of cheering. She currently works with cheer prep classes, Lil flippers classes, and special events. Her main goal as a coach is to help younger kids progress with their skills while spreading the love of cheer and tumbling that she has gained in her years of cheering for SCA.
Emily McDonald is currently cheering with Spring Creek Athletics on team RESPECT. She is currently finishing out her senior year of high school as a dual credit student at Lone Star college. She started as a competitive dancer when she was 5 years old and competed for 3 seasons before switching to gymnastics when she was 8. After viewing a cheerleading practice, she fell in love with the sport and began cheerleading with SCA in her sophomore year of high school. She started out assisting flyers classes and special events and is so excited to continue coaching tumbling. She enjoys working with children and seeing their excitement as they get new skills and progress.
Tumbling & Cheer Coach
Nicole Shepard grew up in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area where she cheered from 3rd grade through her Senior year of high school. After high school she coached tumbling for a gym in Fort Worth for 2 years. In 2011 she got married and moved to Kansas with her husband Chris who was in the Army. She attended school there and received her Associates of Arts Degree. Nicole moved to the Houston area in 2014 for her husband to go to school. She loves the Houston area besides all the traffic. She began cheering on the level 5 INSPIRE team here at SCA in July 2017. That's how she landed the coaching position. She is CPR/AED/First Aid certified. If she's not in the gym she can be found spending time with her husband Chris and their 3 children, Kyndall age 6, Kynlee age 4, and Kaedyn, their newborn.
Tumbling and Cheer Coach
Mackenzie has grown up in the Spring area and attends Klein Collins High School. She plans on pursuing a degree at Texas A&M. Mackenzie has been cheering competitively for 7 years, 5 of which were at SCA. She is currently cheering on Team RESPECT. Mackenzie was a Buddy for STARS for 4 years before becoming one of their cheer coaches. She absolutely loves her job! Outside of the gym she is involved in FFA where she raises and shows animals, she is a Klein Collins Varsity Cheerleader, she serves on the Board of Directors of Junior Guild of Texas where she volunteers in her community and has been a Girl Scout for 12 years where she is working to earn her Gold Award. Mackenzie also enjoys Modeling on the side where is currently working with Rebel Athletics and OneX50 Haircare.
Bryce Miller began cheering on team UNITED 2018-2019 and is currently on team RESPECT for his last year as a super senior. He is a freshman at Lone Star College and graduated from Klein High, where he played Football, Wrestled, and ran for the Cross Country team. He is apart of the Special Events staff and assists with stunt classes.
Bryce loves the SCA family and everything it stands for, he is eager to help and to learn more about stunting to further himself and his team.
Connor Hancock is currently cheering with Spring Creek Athletics on team RESPECT. He is a Sophomore at Tomball High School where he is a Varsity Diver, in FFA (raising a goat named Cabrito Burrito), and in Best Buddies. He also currently assist in several classes at SCA including stunting, and special events. Connor started Men’s Gymnastics at 8 years old. He retired from men’s gymnastics at 14 years old as a level 10 gymnast because he broke his back. As soon as he could tumble again, he started taking tumbling classes at Spring Creek Athletics. Connor started volunteer Coaching when he was 14 years old at Texas Star Gymnastics and then SCA. Connor is excited to call Spring Creek Athletics home because he loves working for Erin Dolan and the rest of the SCA family. He loves sharing his love for tumbling and cheer with his students. It excites him to see his students grow in ability and responsibility. He is also First Aid, and CPR Certified.
Sammy has been cheering at SCA for 2 years,but has been a cheerleader for a total of 13 years. Sammy works mostly at Special Events like FNO and birthday parties. She also helps out with our cheer teams. She enjoys working with little kids because it helps her practice for her future career as an elementary teacher. She attends Lonestar College University Park and she is majoring in education.
Celeste Bailey is currently tumbling with spring creek Athletics on level 3 class with Coach Kevyn. She is a Senior at cypress creek high school where she is in PALS, special buddies, and cosmetology.
Celeste started tumbling at SCA when she was 15. She started tumbling after watching her cousin tumble and loved it ever since.
Celeste started working with SCA on special events we would have. She has be training to coach little flippers, mini tumbling and level 1 class. Celeste is exited to call SCA home because she loves the environment and how the coach pushes their kids to do their best. She loves to share her love for tumbling with her students and advise them with things she was told by her coaches that help her.
Riley Johnson is currently a Varsity Swimmer at Klein Cain HS. She also swims for Swim Ohana and is hoping to swim in college. Prior to swimming, she cheered and tumbled at SCA and Rosehill Christian School. Fun fact - The “Spring” in Spring Creek Athletics was named after her middle name “Riley Spring”. Riley loves working with the Younger athletes and campers at SCA! She is ARC CPR and Lifeguard certified.
Trey Risner is a currently a junior at Klein Cain High School. At his school, he is a JV Swimmer. He is CPR Certified. He loves to help out and cheer up people when there down.
